When Spirit Speaks: How Divine Connections Guide Us Through Tragedy

Justina Sharp Season 1 Episode 17

Send us a text

A powerful convergence of divine timing unfolded as my family vacation to Texas coincided with devastating floods that shocked the region. What began with an inexplicable feeling of unease about our July 4th travel transformed into a firsthand experience of both tragedy and the remarkable resilience of community spirit.

Night after night, I awoke precisely at 3 AM with overwhelming sensations connected to those affected by the floods. These midnight vigils became sacred moments of prayer and energy work—sending healing light not just to local victims but to all those impacted by natural disasters worldwide. During one such session, I received a profoundly comforting vision: children who had previously crossed to the other side rushing to welcome those newly arriving with energetic "warm beach towels," embracing them and teaching them how to send signs back to their grieving families.

The synchronicity continues to amaze me—my episode about children in spirit was released this week with a runtime of exactly 33:33, a powerful angel number that serves as confirmation of divine presence even in our darkest hours. Throughout Texas, I've witnessed communities mobilizing with extraordinary compassion, collection centers appearing everywhere as strangers reach out to help those in need.

This experience reinforces what my soul knows to be true: we must choose connection over division, presence over distraction, and kindness over judgment. When we limit our intake of fear-based media and intentionally cultivate positive energy, we preserve our ability to serve others and ourselves. Whether exploring the welcoming communities of New Braunfels, Round Rock, Georgetown, or standing in beautiful parks sending healing energy through Mother Gaia's crystal core—the message remains the same. We weren't meant to do this life alone, and even in our most challenging moments, spiritual support surrounds us.

Join our Sacred Soul Sisters community by registering for my upcoming Reiki certification class on July 19-20 or our Sacred Souls live Zoom call. Together, through conscious connection, we truly can raise the vibration of our world.

Speaker 1:

I'm so glad you're here, hello friends, we have entered July. As I am recording this in my favorite nature spot you probably get irritated hearing me say that over and over, but, wow, sitting where you hear the birds and nature and see the trees and feel the trees is pretty incredible. So how is everyone? I hope everyone is doing well. I imagine it might be closer to the end of July, maybe when this recording drops. I'm not for sure, but we are at the very beginning right now and my family and I are getting ready to fly out on July 4th to Austin Texas area. We get to hang out in New Braunfels for a bit and San Antonio and Brown Rock and Leander and Canyon Lake. So, um, oh my gosh, we love those areas. So, so, so much. So I'm so looking forward to that Having some family time, some downtime, get to see some friends, get to meet a friend in person for the first time too, while I'm down there, which is exciting. And, yeah, I'm ready for some chill time and get to enjoy the many parks they have to offer down there too, which is incredible. So, um, yeah, but I hope your summer is going well.

Speaker 1:

Um, I have that other Reiki class coming up too in the next couple of weeks and then I'm running an energy course. Um, just kind of an intro get everybody. Um, you know that isn't super familiar with energy just some tidbits and dipping our toe in the water with some different topics about like meditation and those kinds of things too. So super excited and you will probably hear an ad somewhere in here. Please make sure you guys sign up for my newsletter on my website so you will go to angelreikijourneycom and scroll down I believe it's down to the bottom and then put your name and your email in there. Don't worry, I am not sending emails like every five seconds, because, well, I don't really have time to do that, but usually monthly maybe every other month is my goal. So the first one of those should be dropped here before too long. So I'm excited about that. But, yes, please sign up there. That way you'll find out about any courses that I'm offering in person or online. We have our Sacred Souls live Zoom coming up, too, towards the end of July, and that date will be placed on there as well. So please make sure to follow Instagram for updates on that, and you will go to my website and click on the Sacred Souls live Zoom call to register for that. So, anyway, it's just an awesome way for us to be able to connect, have our sense of community. I am always keeping all of you in community and all in thought, but it gives us a minute to connect face to face, so I'm excited about that and, yeah, so Spirit is definitely working.

Speaker 1:

Very interesting here lately. There's a lot of different things coming on. I know that I talked previously about, you know, having more bereaved parents recently as clients and how these children and spirit are so incredible, and I feel like that's still kind of happening. There's a lot of different things that are being manifested. It feels like almost I feel like you know different people being placed in my path and getting to meet different people and other people connecting other people to me and me to them and and all kinds of things. I feel like there is, um, well, one of the sweet little boys in spirit keeps telling me that I will be doing something with a grief camp sometime in the future, so I'm not sure even exactly what that looks like a hundred percent, but, uh, any opportunity to remind people that their past loved ones are not far away, that their spirit team isn't far away and that they have so much love around them. Uh, I, I would love to do so. I'm super excited about that. It's amazing.

Speaker 1:

So I am standing right now in the middle of this park and the sun is shining down on me and the trees are surrounding me and the water is right in front of me, and it feels incredible. Wow, sorry, getting lost in the moment here. Lots of lost in the moments, but you know what, every time I go to say that now, it feels different Spirit's like no, you're not lost in the moment, you're being present in the moment, and that's what we call you to do. We're really calling on everybody to try to make sure they have those moments of being present, of just really closing your eyes for a minute and breathing in your surroundings and taking note of the colors, the feelings, the temperature, the sounds, and just really being present. Oh, you guys, so much is out there. We have so much kindness in this world.

Speaker 1:

I'm being called to remind you of that, to remind you that there is still so much light left in this world and we really need to make a kind of a promise to ourselves to really try to limit our intake of social media, specifically when it comes to the news and try to limit the amount of negativity that's being fed everywhere and violence and all of those kinds of things. You know we are a soul and we are a physical body and we are capable of so much. But if we really want to be able to thrive and continue to thrive for not only ourselves but everyone around us right now, then we need to make sure that we're doing everything we can to continue to fill ourselves with positivity as well. I'm not talking about, you know, being oh, everything's perfect all the time and there's never anything bad, because that's not real. That's not what I'm talking about. But I am talking about you really want to make sure that what's coming into your ears and into your eyes and into your heart is way more on the positive, uplifting side than on the negative side. So, in other words, to be very frank, don't sit in front of the TV and watch CNN, nbc, whatever news outlet you have, for 80% of your day. Please don't do it, because if you do, I don't know that you'll make it the next 10 years. It's, it's just a lot. So that doesn't mean I don't want you to be aware of things that are going on. I'm not saying that and when you start to think of these things that are going on, when you do have those moments where you're watching the news, take a minute and feel into your heart and send love to everyone being affected in those situations. Send love to the people that are part of that situation, the people that are being affected by that situation or the many situations. It never hurts to send love and, collectively, if we all take the time to do that, we really, really, really can make a difference in this world. So I know, I've just been like rambling I'm not lecturing you guys, I promise Sorry, but it probably does feel like that. We are here and um, okay, so this is a bit of a time lapse episode. I am actually in Texas now.

Speaker 1:

Um, there was a lot of interruptions and, uh, with my last attempt to record and um got tricky. Attempt to record and got tricky, but I mean, I feel like everything does sort of happen for a reason, right? So we flew into Texas, we flew into San Antonio on July 4. And for the last couple weeks prior to leaving, I was really kind of starting to get antsy and I kept brushing it off. As you know, it's probably just related to the our wonderful events in the world that have been happening right, and to the point that then I started to think maybe there was going to be some type of global type thing that was going to take place, and possibly on July 4th it felt like something bad was going to happen. But, um, so I kept kind of directing it to that, but I wasn't for sure. There's a lot of different sounds here in Texas FBI, um, lots of planes flying overhead and different nature sounds than we're used to.

Speaker 1:

So, and anyway, I really kind of thought about you know, should we maybe not go? I don't know what's going to happen and it's July 4th, independence Day for the US. What's going on? I don't know. I just have this feeling in my gut. And so then I ended up reaching out to um, someone I knew in Texas and I was like, hey, uh, just in case anything gets crazy, um, not to like invite herself. But you know, could we like come see you or something you know, and bless her heart? She was great and was like hey, if anything goes down, absolutely you can come to us. I made sure I got her address, just in case, like Internet went down phone communication, all kinds of stuff, because it did, it felt horrible, right, and so we had our flight. Our flight went great Uh, couldn't have went better really which was wonderful.

Speaker 1:

And then we arrived in San Antonio. It was raining, uh, when we got here and, um, something felt a bit off, but not like it had been. It was quite odd, anyway, so we stayed in an Airbnb in New Braunfels and well, to make a long story short, the rain continued for several days and the horrible flooding that took place and the children that were affected at the camp and the adults and everyone that was coming together to help, and it was terrible, help and um, it was terrible and it was about, you know, we were kind of like outside of New Braunfels and I think it was like an hour, hour and a half from us, is what it felt like. Um, anyway, I immediately, uh, every night we've been here, except for last night. Now we are on Thursday, uh, which, oh my gosh, I'm so messed up on dates. Thursday is eighth and ninth, I think it's the 10th vacation and dates have not worked out well for me anyway, and um, but every night up until last night, I was awake immediately at 3 AM with the horrid feeling of, um, what it felt like being at that camp. Uh, they brought me to that and just different things like that, and uh, just everyone affected, you know.

Speaker 1:

And then it kind of brought me into this. You know everyone that's ever been affected by flooding and natural disasters, and so I was just spending so much time sending so much love to everyone. And luckily, I had a mentor in the past that said you know what, if you ever wake up at 3am and you feel anxious or you can't go back to sleep, it might just be your call to pray for somebody, and I think that has proven to be true over and over again. So I'm passing that info on to you too. And so I would be up for at least an hour and a half and just praying and praying and sending so much love to everybody. Um, the night of July 4th, I I didn't even know who I was praying to, to be honest, uh, or what I was praying about. I was just, like you know, listen, jesus, mother Mary, like everyone's guides, everyone's ancestors, we are calling on everyone to just send so much love to everywhere. And yeah, it's been interesting.

Speaker 1:

And so, while we're at this point. Let's just take a second and send some love to Texas. You know, something that I have witnessed firsthand is the beauty here of all of the surrounding towns within a couple hours and sending their love and their support and surrounding them and truly, truly stepping up. There are multiple, multiple, multiple locations almost everywhere you go that are collecting supplies for them and doing everything they can to support them. So that's been beautiful, and we'll just take a minute here and just send some love from your heart to them. We'll just take a minute here and just send some love from your heart to them. Jesus, kuan Yin, mother Mary, all of our past loved ones, our ancestors, all of those of the land. We call on all of you to just send love from the deepest parts of you, the deepest parts of your soul loving, healing energy, to all of those that were affected by this flood, all of those that have crossed over the veil to be in that beautiful paradise and all of those that are left behind, missing them terribly. We just ask that you just wrap your loving arms around them. You just wrap your healing, loving energy around each and everyone. And so it is. So, yeah, it's been interesting.

Speaker 1:

Well, the other part. That's been interesting, as my previous um podcast episode was about children in spirit, recorded a while ago and and it dropped this week. And I I get goosebumps every time I think about it because spirit is beautiful, like, wow, an episode about grief, about intense grief, dropped this week. Not only that, a huge wink to our angels as the time of that episode, you know. So some are like 20 minutes, some are 43 minutes, something like that. This episode was exactly 33 minutes and 33 seconds. Talk about angel number. That's incredible, and that's incredible and just another recognition that we're not alone in this world. Even though they can't intervene and stop every single bad thing from happening, they are here with us to support us in each and every moment that they can. We're not alone, guys.

Speaker 1:

So I did want to tell you that not last night, but I think it was the night before one of the images that I was given because I was really, you know, I'm still human as well, so I was having moments of like why, I mean why this is horrible, it's such a horrible thing that happened and all of these things and and I got this image of a lot of the children that I have talked to that are, in spirit form, coming like walking out with these warm and I don't know how they warmed them. And obviously this is energetic, because you don't need anything when you cross over but these warm, humongous beach towels and just holding each and every person that lost their life in this flood, the children and spirit just surrounding each and every one, especially the other children, and welcoming them and showing them that they will be there to help guide them. They will be there to help teach them how to reach out to their loved ones. They'll be there to reach out to send mom had winks and smiles from the other side. I mean, it was the most beautiful image. I keep saying you know it's someday I'm going to be an artist, I'm going to be able to draw more than like a stick figure. Right, that's my goal, cause I would love to be able to put some of these images onto paper. I mean Hello, hello.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 1:

Wow, it was the most incredible and comforting and wonderful vision that I got and I'm so grateful for that, and I and I just uh gosh, I just send so much love to all of these hearts that are going through so much right now, and I just really wanted to remind you guys, you know, I mean, we have all these signs around us, right, and and even though I didn't get it right about what was coming, right, I knew something terrible was coming, but I didn't get it right, I didn't know exactly what it was. But I am glad that I'm still here in Texas, we're still on our family vacation. I feel like, even though you can send energy anywhere, I can send it to Australia right now if I want to, right, I get that. But there's something about touching the earth here in Texas to just send love and light, to just allow me to be a vessel, to continue to channel, through that divine, heavenly, loving energy and, just, you know, send it down to deep within Mother Gaia's crystal core, because she needs it too core, because she needs it too right, like, not only were so many people um affected, but you know there's so many different things that affect mother Gaia as well, and so I'm just so grateful I'm standing in this beautiful park right now, um, in Round Rock, round Rock, texas, and it is it's the Chisholm Trail Park, I believe is what it's in, and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Speaker 1:

And there's these beautiful sculptures all around reminding us of how far we've come right, how even years and years and years and years and years ago, we had all of these challenges and all of these obstructions in our way and we kept going, we kept going, and we can still do that today. We kept going and we can still do that today, even though we have all of these interesting decisions being made in the political world. I'll just leave it at that. But we still have hope. We still have hope and we still have reminders that we have. We still have hope and we still have reminders that we have. We've been through a lot of crap and we can still keep going, but in order to do that, it is so essential that we support each other in this process.

Speaker 1:

Right, like guys, be kind to your neighbor, even the people that get on your damn nerves, because, trust me, I get it, I get it. People can be a lot, but please send them love. We are not going to get anywhere by talking to oh, oh, I just saw two beautiful Cardinals. Thank you, spirit. I don't think I've seen a cardinal the whole time I've been down here. Anyway, just send love, send love to people, and if you find yourself being judgmental, look, I'm not trying to be a jerk, but check yourself. Check yourself and take a breath, because you have no idea what brought them to this point, to be the way they are. You have no idea, okay, and I just, I just want us to really, really, really, really try hard to reach deep down for kindness to everyone around us, because that's how we're going to get through this, that's how we're going to continue to persevere, to continue to be able to live on this beautiful earth and to prosper. Because if we get caught up in all of this, this hate, and mixed with the intense fear that that media is trying desperately to instill in us and politics for that matter, anyway we're not going to go down a good path. We're going to ruin ourselves. We're going to ruin ourselves if we don't come back to our heart.

Speaker 1:

So please, and please, pass that word on to people around you. Your children, too. Remind them. You know, I try to remind my kids. You know there's always ornery kids. They go to school with right that are now. Obviously, if they're harming them, that's a different story. That needs to be addressed immediately, immediately. However, if, if they're just pissy and they push them away or they say not nice things and things like that, more than likely they learned that somewhere right. More than likely they weren't born just talking junk, you know, and, and a lot of times they created this, this vocabulary, in order to, in their mind, defend themselves.

Speaker 1:

Right, to keep them safe, because really, I think that's probably what most of us are just trying to do, right, because safety is like a number one thing If you can't feel safe, you can't get any of your crap together, your crap together. So, if you're not feeling safe, please reach out. Please reach out, reach out to someone, reach out to a therapist. Call 911. If it, if it feels like a, you know you, you just can't get out of it, you know, and you have no hope or anything like that. Please don't. Please seek help. You don't have to do this alone, okay, you don't have to do this alone.

Speaker 1:

Ask, ask people for resources, and I want to remind you, too, that you know there are a ton of employers that have EAP programs, which is employee assistance, that offer most of the time, offer at least three to six free counseling sessions, whether that be via Zoom or in person. So there are ways to get help and support. Your local food pantry would be able to direct you to some resources too. Um, you know, just local churches. Please, please, just reach out.

Speaker 1:

Don't try to do this by yourself, okay, cause that's not. That's not why we were created to do life by ourselves. What would be the point at all If we were just walking around by ourselves all day, 24-7, never talking to anybody, exactly? So please reach out, because your life is important. You are here for a reason. You are worthy of support and love as well. Wow, didn't mean to get off on that soapbox, sorry. Wow, didn't mean to get off on that soapbox, sorry.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, uh, I wanted to give a shout out to uh round rock while I'm here too, and, um gosh, the community has been so welcoming. We went to Dell diamond for, uh, their baseball team, uh baseball game last night, and they're so great with the kids, like it was so much fun. We had a blast and I just, I just want to recognize them for that. Also, new Braunfels. So there is a crystal shop in New Braunfels called the Empress and there is a lovely lady, peyton, that works there. She is absolutely incredible. Please, please, please. If you are anywhere near the New Braunfels area, stop in there. It's a beautiful shop, they have a ton of things and they also have events, she was telling me. So, please, kind, open-hearted people welcoming you into a circle is incredible. So big shout out to them and to Peyton, because she is so kind, you guys would love her. Yeah, so we are going to still look into some more areas.

Speaker 1:

We visited Leander yesterday and Georgetown oh my gosh, georgetown Square and we went to Gold Burger. Big shout out to Gold Burger. They were really good, really nice people as well. And their square in Georgetown, you guys really nice people as well. And their square in Georgetown, you guys, is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I absolutely love it.

Speaker 1:

I think we're going to check out Hutto today and probably go into Austin. We do love Austin. We do love Austin, but we probably won't seek looking to live right in Austin With the kiddos. We like a little bit more um outside of big city for them, for sure, and um. And then Friday we are going to check out Waco and uh, super excited about that.

Speaker 1:

My son and I uh used to like every Saturday morning cud up, and now he's 14 and like 18 feet tall, which is really annoying. But before all that, we used to cuddle up every Saturday morning and watch Fixer Upper. So, chip and Joanna, I'm kind of geeking out about that. I'm like, oh my gosh, the silos they're in Waco, oh my gosh. So I'm turning into a big kid and uh getting super excited. But anyway, I love all of you so so much.

Speaker 1:

Uh, sorry, but sort of not sorry about the time lapse, um episode Cause I feel like you know we are all uh divinely guided and I think it kind of worked out how it was supposed to. Uh, divinely guided and I think it kind of worked out how it was supposed to. And I just appreciate you guys' patience with me and uh, and I appreciate you listening. Thank you so much for listening. If you haven't already, please go to my website and scroll down to the bottom and fill out the sign up for the newsletter. Uh, I don't know if I mentioned that at the first part of this, because I recorded the first part like a week ago. Uh, so sorry if I'm double uh telling you about that, but because I've got some cool events coming up. Um also visit some really cute shops in Georgetown, met a couple of people uh, that were incredible. And, um, interested in learning more about Reiki too. So, again, looking to do that first online course September, october, and, um, yeah, so I love you guys, I love you guys, I love you guys. Thank you so much for listening and I hope you have a great rest of your week. Talk to you later. Bye, hey everyone.

Speaker 1:

If, when you're listening to an episode, if you could please just take a second, place your hand on your heart and take a deep breath in through your nose and a long exhale out of your mouth, and just set the intention to send love and light to every single person listening, right now, yesterday and in the future. I think together we just might be able to raise the vibration of this world. I'm so excited and please follow me on Instagram at AngelReikiJourney.
